What is it with parents that do this. I think it was maybe more in the past than today. I remember my mom made me sleep in this skimpy nightie and we used to visit her parents who lived about an hour away so before we left all us kids had to put on our pyjamas. My brothers wore ordinary pyjama pants and shirt but I had to wear this skimpy nightie and ** right up until I was 17 when I finally stood up to her. 17 I still cringe at how obedient and suffering humiliation I was.
