Getting fired ** to high Heaven for a variety of reasons
Ok I got fired during my performance rating. My manager said I made too many mistakes and she considered me unfit to work their any further.
Ok I turned in my ID, Company credit cards and then there was a long unpleasant silence. I thought they were waiting for me to leave so I said theres nothing to do but leave and I got up and headed for the door. The HR head followed me and said don't go. I stopped walking but I was in the middle of the hallway and I saw no reason to stick around.
It turns out they wanted me to be escorted out. Well why wasn't the ** in the room with us? He should have been. Well I wanted to get out. I needed to get home so what was the delay? OK the ** showed up and we had a long walk to my car. During the walk he reminded me not to come back for a visit and I told him a bit mad that telling that was not necessary. I knew the drill. Leave never come back. I understood.
Getting to my car and stopping I pulled out my keys and opened the door. The ** asked is this your car? I started to say why no I just thought I'd drive someone elses car home. I didn't say that. I got in the car and left.
