I took it to the labor board and won
I got fired from the Red Cross for allegedly making a racist comment. My crime was to refer to Black history week as African history week. That was not racism it was a mistake.
The red cross fired me and I could not collect unemployment but I took it to the labor board ans won. The arbitrater was puzzled as to why I was actually terminated and their explanation fell on deaf ears.
The Labor ruled in my favor and I was able to collect a large sum of withheld money from my former employer.
I had been a regular blood donor at the red cross but since I could no longer enter the building that ended that. I donated blood to LifeSouth which was better anyway because the children get the benefit of my O neg blood.
