The day I collected unemployments benefits over my ex managers ob
I was overheard referring to Black history week as African history week nd the reason I did that was not racism but because some black folks working there were wearing traditional African clothing and talking about Africa.
A black woman overheard this and I believe she was a white hater. She called my manager who was a morbidly obese ** of a human being and I got fired.
I waited until the maximum time to put in for unemployment at the labor board and contested the fact that I wasn't due unemployment benefits.
It didn't take long for me to explain how I did not say anything racist but had merely made a mistake. I collected a lump sum of money to the tune of several hundred dollars and walked out happy. I was hired not long after my benefits ran out
