I would gladly pay a thousand dollars to have a business closed.
No joke. I would gladly pay a thousand dollars cash to close a business called Peterstownship Post Acute in the state of Pennsylvania permanently. My mom has been there for a month and a half to recuperate after breaking her hip but, even though she's shown improvement, they won't let her leave. Instead, they want to put her in Medicaid and if that happens, they will get all of my mom's money in her bank and she will only get $60 a month. The worse part is, if my mom goes on Medicaid, then I have to pay all of the bills. The rent, electricity, water, gas, Internet. Then there's also my phone that I need to pay for as well as gas for my car. If my mom can't be put on Medicaid. Then I have to pay $1,300 a mom for Mom to keep staying there and if that happens, then I won't have any money left to keep living where I am now. Medicaid or not, I will end up homeless and if that happens, I will personally blame Post Acute because they have been lying to me, manipulating me and trying to discourage me from taking Mom home. I honestly wish my dad was still alive because if he was, he could have taken care of Mom at home and this wouldn't be happening to me or my Mom. She's even stated that she hates the place and has told the staff she wants to leave but they won't let her, she once asked for hot chocolate but they gave her tea instead and even my Mom's memory is a bit faulty so I'm sure they're taking advantage of that fact. Again, no lie. I would truthfully pay $1,000 cash to have that place permanently shut down.

I was in the same situation four years ago. My mother passed away and to me that was a blessing for both of us. She was no longer suffering and my financial obligation was over.

Do mom a huge favor the next time she's asleep... press a pillow over her face as hard as you can, using your entire body weight, to hold it in place for a full five minutes. It's the New American way to delete those that just cannot continue to contribute to the wealth of the United States. Someone will also benefit from the parking space that will become available to a productive American.
