Washing machine drain pump
Replaced a drain pump on a front load washing machine and fixed the drum shock on the right side that came apart probably from a previous repair. It took about 3 hours never did one before. I had always got a lucky quick fix by cleaning the drain filter basket. For pay I wanted to just take a shower and have good conversation with the retired woman I did the repair for but I ended up getting a lot more. I got a dash cam with front and back recording capability and the biggest sd card I ever seen 256 gigs but it causes the camera to error because the camera is only 128 gig capable. So whoever had it just tossed it in a construction dumpster with the 12 volt car power accessory adapter. I wanted to replace the clutch in this woman's all wheel drive suburu legacy. I wanted to do this so bad that it killed me when not one person would support me in my effort. I wanted this 87 year old capable woman to have her wheels. How often do you get to see a woman of that age work a clutch pedal and a 5 speed gear box the moment is sanctified. So I studied the process on a clutch disc and pressure plate and throw out bearing R and R. It would have been a cake walk with air power tools and a car lift but it would have been something else with just a couple good jacks and jack stands and a engine hoist and the ** up thing about it is people would rather see someone stuck at home trying to figure out how to get from point a to b than offer a little space to do the work on a private driveway or garage. Will they offer a ride to this person probably not even though they are going to drive nearby or very close. Its sad. So in closing the washing machine drained better than ever and no leaks and it was quietly efficient but I had to wash my clothes in a pond Literally
