A historical fact that made me rofl XD
I recently read this chronicle of the times of the expeditions to the American West, of this stagecoach on which these two twelve-year-old boys, twins of French origins, who were on their way to be reunited with their father who they hadn't seen for a long time. The stagecoach was attacked by a band of red warriors who slaughtered everyone except the twins, who were taken to their village; there they naturally became the guests of honor of the classic Indian pastime "roast alive the paleface pioneer"
The two boys, in fact, wearing only shirts, trousers and braces, were each tied to a pole, with a nice pile of dry wood under their bare feet that the Redskins kept replenishing. At one point one of the two boys asked his brother if those Indians were really intent on burning them alive, the other replied sarcastically with anger: "I don't know, maybe I'll ask them now!"
As expected, it ended the way you imagine: The Indians set fire to the wood and danced around the two losers celebrating the victory XD
I wonder if the stupid twin would have understood when he felt the flames under the soles of his feet, that the Indians wanted to burn them to death?
Well, I suppose he knows now XD
