How do I approach a shy guy working at school?
Yep, this is stupid. Yep, it's about a guy and a girl. No, I never talked to him, yes, I do slightly stalk him, yes, I normally despise fangirl-like behaviour. But around him I can't help it! He's just so cute and lovely and good looking and incredibly shy...! But he is seven years older than me and works at school (but he isn't a teacher). **. I want to at least get to know him as a friend, how do I approach him?

Wait, are you in high school? If you are under 18, don't go for this guy. It'll only be trouble for the both of you. If you're in college, then I agree with the other posters. Just approach him.

Nope, don't go after him. Find someone your own age for now. You don't even really know this guy to begin with, and any guy who is old enough to drink wouldn't get with a high school freshmen unless he's a creep. Enjoy the crush and contiune to daydream about him, but leave the idea alone for the next four years. If he's still around and you're still into him, try then.
How about "How's it going?" or "Hi, how are you doing today?" or "How's work going today?" or maybe even "Hey, I see you working here all the time and thought I'd introduce myself. I'm __". You don't have to say anything unique or clever, just say something. If he's into you, even if he's shy, he'll say something back.
