I turned him downn...

One day i was sitting a the lunch table, and my boy friend went and sat next to me. We were in 6th grade, and at first I didnt mind. But then he kept getting really close to me, and I thought he wanted me to move down, so I scooched over a little bit. He kept getting closer to me, so I gave him the eye like "what are you doing???" Then he grabbed my hand like he wanted to hold it. But the lunch lady was coming over to us, I didnt want to hold hands; we were dating for about 3 days! I just didnt like it so I like, started basically arm wrestling him to get me my hand back. I didnt want to ! This went on for about 30 seconds ; us arm wrestling. When I finally got back my hand, he looked upset and he excused himself to go to the bathroom. When he came back, he sat on the other side of the table. So I broke up with him! I didnt even like him.

This was a long time ago, but i still remember. If you were that guy, how would you feel about what i did ? Please, no rude comments. I do like long comments, so maybe a paragraph about your connections or suggestions. Im only in 6th grade ! So come on ! Leave comments !! Byeeee !!!

  • What you did was totally fine! If he was doing something that you didn't want to do, you had a right not to do it. This will help you later on in life when the pressuring becomes less about just hand holding and more about other stuff as well. I know of a few people who didn't want to do something but let it happen anyways because they thought they wouldn't be loved and they ended up getting really hurt. If someone tries to get you to do something, you probably should break up with them, you made a good choice. I hope that choice stays with you for a long time :)
