Sick of people using their kids as an excuse for everything

I'm going to Nursing school, and we're starting clinicals soon, we were supposed to start them almost two months ago. Why didn't we start on time you ask? Because nearly all of my classmates have oops babies who they don't make solid childcare plans for. So no one's schedule matches up with what we need to do for hours, basically everyone has to work around these irresponsible teen moms because they can't ever find a sitter apparently. If you can't make childcare plans for one night, how are you gonna make them for upwards of 12 hour shifts at the hospital? Especially if you're on call. What are you gonna say? "I'm sorry but I don't have anyone to watch my girls."? Have fun getting fired after two days.

  • Have to agree with you on this..Young girls having kids and not being prepared for anything does hold others back. Young, 19-year old hostess at the bar I go to has a 3 year old, and, the other girls get tired of her calling off due to having to pick her kid up from the dad's house (nope, they don't live together) or find care. One girl is relatively new, and said she already didn't like young mom girl, b/c she'd asked the new girl to cover for her twice in a week. Maybe if these teen girls would keep their legs closed for five minutes, they'd be better off.

  • Sounds like you maybe going to a low end school. it maybe the school the state sends people to when they are down are there luck and need a second chance. you should of saved up more money and went to a better school. you get what you pay for
