Love is in the Air (between us)

I am in love with a girl that I met online even though we live 6 hours apart. She told me that she likes me back but that us becoming anything more than friends would be pointless so she went and found herself a girl friend; and don't get me wrong, I'm so happy for her but it hard to hear someone you love talk about someone else like they are the best thing they have ever experienced. She says that she still likes me back and eventually we will get together but between now and then is too long. What do I do?

  • You move on, live your life, meet people, date. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. You will find other girls to connect with, you have to put yourself out there. Think you need to possibly take a break from her and she should be respectful of your feelings and so neither of you are leading one another on. With her being 6 hours away, how realistic is this relationship for you to truly commit yourself to? Have you ever considered that this may be a catfish? That she really isn't who she says she is? Try to find someone that actually lives in your area. If she is who she says she is and it's meant to be then when you two find yourself in the same town maybe you can give it an honest shot. You don't really know someone until you really meet them in the flesh. There are so many things a person can hide (even more so) when they are online vs inperson. So just be hopeful and careful.
