I Don't Want to Go
There is a concert tonight at my home school (I go to a different school because I wanted the free college senior year), but my parents said that I can't go. I have horse riding lessons every Thursday, despite being scared of horses. During my second lesson, I was nearly bucked off and now every time a horse makes a movement similar in any way to that horse before it tried to buck me off, I get even more scared then I already was/am. I can't get out of it because they already hired the person to give me lessons so they'll have to pay no matter what, but I really don't want to go. I'd rather see my friends and not have the ** scared out of me for a half hour.
Stand your ground! Your parents can't physically force you to do something, you don't want to do!! If they try, you can report them to the Police!
Try discussing your concerns with them, if they're unsympathetic and inconsiderate of your concerns and feelings, perhaps discuss your concerns, with your riding instructor
