Crack cocaine use at work
In 1985 I worked at a trucking company in their Tariff department. A black employee had filed a class action lawsuit against the company because they didn't have enough black employees.
The company immediately hired four black men to work there. Three of the four employees used cocaine on a daily basis and did either no work at all or not enough work or did a poor job of what work they did do.
One day one of these men started harassing me by getting out of his seat and preventing me from working. I yelled at him to stop but he looked confused and kept on harassing me. He was pushing my pen so I couldn't get anything done.
I told the head of HR who put him in another part of the building which ** him off big time. One day while I was on break he jumped me from behind in front of all the other workers and had his fist above my face. I called the police and they tried to arrest him but he resisted arrest and they had to club him down.
Needless to say, he was fired and he spent some time in jail. In the meantime, a friend of his who still worked there said his wife let him and no one wanted to have anything to do with him. I carried a gun with me in the car and an eye was kept to see that he didn't come back. He never did.
When he attacked me his two black friends were laughing their ** off. They were high on cocaine too.
I have a question for the black community. Is this as good as you can do? I've eventually got work at another company and the blacks there tended to mess up too.
Is this as good as you folks can do?
I understand there are many good black workers but there sure are a lot of sorry ones.
I have only worked with 2 blacks that actually did work. The rest were lazy ** **
You seriously need to get out more! Your basing your opinion on the actions of two or three black men that Blacks are not hard working people. This is too stupid for me to answer. You seriously need to get out from behind the wheel and crack a book! Here is my question! Never mind, I already know the answer and the answer is yes!
I agree completely
There's been a black man in the White House for the last 8 years and you still feel the need to ask the question "is this as good as black men can do?" Or do you think he's also been taking cocaine in the Oval Office?
Don't forget this black man took over from a white man that had this country in a recession heading to a depression. stupid!
Dumbass, the commentator above yours wasn't being prejudiced against black people! You've misconstrued his comment!
But thank you for yours!
Just because you've had experienced some negative encounters with a minority of individuals whom are black, doesn't mean, the majority of black individuals are the same.
The behaviours of those individuals', doesn't account for the wider population of black individuals.
To assume this, would be stupid and you dear sir, are being stupid!
You haven't encountered every single black person on earth, so how can you assume, all individuals' whom are black, are the same? Treat people as individuals.
I feel honestly disheartened by your comment, because it conveys how prejudiced and racist you're. You've made your assumptions and stereotypical generalisations, based on a minority of individuals. I wonder, if those negative experiences transpired with individuals from another race besides black, would your OP have stated the race of those individuals still?
Perhaps or probably not, I guess only you would know the answer to that :-(
I work at a government substance abuse treatment center. I know many people of all races who do drugs and cant hold down a job. Stop your obsession with black people.
I agree x
I know this will sound racist but I have experienced much the same thing when having to work with multiple black people. Its almost as if they know you can't say anything to them about their poor performance or attitude because they will just say you are a racist or the only reason they got fired was because they are black. The women tend to be worse than the men . Loud as can be , disrupting and disrespectful to everyone who is just trying to do their job. The only time I was ever threatened with violence at work was after telling a black woman her break was over and she needed to get back to work. She got right in my face and told me to shut my ** mouth or she would ** me up. After complaining to my supervisor, she was simply made to apologize and I was told just to give her some space. I was her manager, she threatened me and I was the one being told to give her space. Had that been a white person she would have been fired immediately . They have become a protected class and they use that for a free ride. Not all but a lot!
You hear stories like this all the time. Thanks for sharing.
I hear many stories and I've encountered many experiences with individuals, but I don't assume it's because of their specific race.
I'm aware not everyone is as open minded as myself and I'm cool with that, each to their own. But there's a lesson to be learnt.
If you know what the lesson is, without me conveying it, that's great. If you don't, I guess you're reluctant to learn or you don't care.
Either way, bless you and one love :-)
Sorry you've encountered some negative experiences, with a minority of black people. I hope those experiences don't reinforce how you perceive the black population on the whole. As you, I and many people know, in all races, you get the good, bad and in between :-)
Please don't let stereotype and generalise that the majority of black people are bad, as you haven't encountered "every single black person on earth" "We" aren't all bad.
Treat people on a individual basis, don't allocate negative attributes and behaviour's to individuals, based on their race :)
Thank you
It is racist, because you're being prejudiced and stereotypical towards the majority of black people, because of your negative experiences with a minority of them!
That's like me stating something stupid like, "the majority of human beings are evil and cruel, because of the negative experiences I've had with a minority of them!" Do you comprehend my point?!
