MY best friend beat the ** out of a guy
I live in Ohio near Lake Superior and there are a lot of poor people living here. Not much work to do here and a lot of people have very little.
Near my friend's house, there is a trailer park. A woman living in one of these trailers had two very small children. She was a sot drunk. She often neglected her children aged five and seven.
I was visiting my friend and we were having breakfast when this woman's two little-ragged children come over begging for food. They were given pancakes, eggs, bacon, and milk. Butter and jam on the toast.
I've never in my life seen anyone as hungry as these children. We decided to go to the trailer park and ask the woman what the ** was going on.
We got to the trailer and there the stupid bag was. Passed out drunk as a skunk. We could not wake her up.
We decided to call the police and tell them what had happened. The police arrived and the woman was still passed out. The cops called an ambulance and took the woman to the hospital.
In the meantime, the children were placed in protective custody. After she recovered well enough to go home she tried to take her children with her. The police said no.
She was arrested later on and charged with child endangerment and neglect. The children went into foster care.
The woman was bitter at us. She said we should have minded our own business but we didn't apologize and we told her that if we saw something like that again we call the police again.
Her boyfriend came over and started cussing us and my friend got tired of hearing him. He was told to get off the property or wed kick his ** off.
They got into a fistfight and my friend beat the ** out of him. He kicked him off the property and called the police. The police caught the guy driving away and he was arrested for DWI.
The woman moved and I never heard of her again but her kids were in a home not that far away and the last we heard a nice family wanted to adopt them.

I call **, your FIRST SENTENCE ruined the rest of what might have been a credible tale. Your story might be slightly believable if you were to look at a MAP of the Great Lakes region and notice Lake Superior is 500 MILES away from Ohio.
Lake Erie is what I meant. This happened many years ago. We were business partners in an air conditioning company and while I am from Georgia I spent a lot of time working with this man. No lake Superior is a long way away but since Ohio is not my home I got confused as to which lake was which.
