Why do I continue to buy things

When I know it's only a matter of time before I kill myself?

Strange.

  • They say we were all born to die.

Shoppin's just a natual part of dyin', homie.

  • You/We/All of us are controlled by the "Power of Advertising" as proscribed by the "True Dog of Commercial Capitalism"...
This is an enlightenment of faith is fed to us as infants nursing on our Mothers Milk. The Mantra.....buy, buy, buy, buy, buy, buy, buy... becomes a lullaby. Of which methodologysociety uses to pass down cultural knowledge or tradition. In addition, lullabies are often used for the developing of communication skills, indication of emotional intent, maintenance of infants' undivided attention, modulation of infants' arousal, and "Regulation of Behavior".
    Okay, so don't believe me..Look it up...wikipdia...
(..if you are still with us...)

  • You could kill yourself first, and try shopping afterwards. Then you wouldn't have to worry about spending money or where you have to keep all the junk you buy

  • Listen to Weird Als ebay song and buy everything on it.

  • Get a credit card and max that s*** out before you kys and go get a car with it all lmao

  • Just continue to buy, if it makes you happy. I know some people who are so greedy. They never share and are always complaining about being short of a dime. They spend all the money on themselves and know how to have a good time! Then there are those who live a miserable life and when they pass away they give all their money and assets to charity or the church. Some even burn their money so they don't have to share it with their family. These are the souls that are never happy with their life!

  • It's because you are subconsciously seeking some form of satisfaction , gratification
, interest, stimulation, sustenance or excitement that will revive or resuscitate your innate will to live or at least reconnect you to it. You do not really want to die, and that is an excellent sign! Latch onto that and continue it. Call the hot line, call or go to one of the local community mental health services that are available (usually for free), call 911 or go to an ER, but please don't harm or injure yourself. Things are not as hopeless as they seem.
I have just prayed that God will give you his strength and wisdom and guidance and clarity and peace, and allow you to find hope for today and purpose for tomorrow. It's fair for you to pray for yourself, as well. Ask God to lead you out of darkness and into bright sunshine. I will continue to pray for you. Please take every Carr.

  • Yes..pray to that imaginary emptiness that gave us covid..

  • ...or you could just pull that trigger...
