I dated a girl for three years too long. The relationship was going nowhere. The final time I asked her out I asked her to a movie, She said no. I asked her how about a drive to the park. She said no. I asked her to suggest something and she said no it was up to me.
I had suggested everything within my ability for us to do together. She refused. I told her I would call her back when I thought of something to do.
I never called her again.
One day when I was at the mall with a friend I ran into her. It happened twice in fact. She was standing off to the side with a strange smile on her face. I walked by her and I said nothing to her.
The friend I was with asked "is that J,,,?" I said yes, keep going.
I hope she heard me say that.
