My Mother
My mother beats me and hits me and I cant even have a conversation with another person face to face without getting nervous anymore. I haven't left my childhood home without her hovering in over a year. I'm in college and she guilt tripped me into switching my classes online. Now that I'm home all the time she disappears for eons and I am forced to parent my three siblings that are all under the age of ten. I had to quit my job because of her meddling and now I'm afraid I'm slipping back under the rug of dependency. I have no outside social life, aside from online. I have nightmares of my mother stabbing me and drowning me in our kitchen sink. I try to stay positive but I really am mentally tired. Today she came in and told me I was abusing her children because I told them to play quietly because I'm trying to read the notes for my lecture. And she started yelling at me and then said she doesn't trust me and I told her I did nothing wrong, which escalated to me crying and her beating me. I'm not sure what to do because I don't have enough funds anymore to leave immediately, and I can't really get a job anymore because I am stuck parenting three children all day.
