I'd like to have a dream that actually makes sense.
Every time I have a dream, it's always messed up and confusing. Just for once in my life, I'd like to have a dream that makes sense. Last night, I had a dream, I was at my job at the self-scan and a customer needed help. I couldn't help the customer so another employee was able to. Suddenly, I was on the Nostromo, the ship from the movie Alien. All of the characters were there too but, instead of being killed off by the Xenomorph, the Xenomorph took control of them and made them chase me and someone else down. Eventually, me and the other person managed to escape. Every time I have a dream, it's always weird. One time, just one time, I'd love to have a dream that I can understand.

There used to be a book on how to have lucid dreams. See if you can find it. If you can cross the threshold of dream you may be able to write like H P Lovecraft.
I've never read any of his stories.
Dreams are strange things. Oftentimes, their substance is drawn from your subconscious feelings. In this case, I think that you are feeling desperate for a way out of some situation.
Had another strange dream last night. Ended up in the future where everybody wore white and the building I was in was completely white. White chairs, white bar counter, etc. I told a guy that I had to get back to my past. He told me of a doctor that could help me. I go over to see her and I say she isn't a doctor but she replies she's a doctor sometimes. I tell her I want to go back to my own time and she says that to help me, she needs to put patches on my arm. She does this and begins to put them on my left arm and my left arm only while she explains the affect of each patch. Eventually, I decide to stay in the future.
