Unpleasant chat room conversation
Many yers ago there used to be excite and Yahoo chat rooms. ONe day a Muslim was touting his religion and comparing it favorably with Christianity. I corrected him with this unfortunantly very true story.
At the black stone in Mecca an American sea plane was having engine trouble. The pilot was frantically trying to get more power out of the motor as his plane was losing altitude.
The air craft came too close for comfort and for a second or so it looked like the plane was going to crash into the stone.
The pilot was able to pull up a bit and missed the stone.
Ok word gets back to the American base that if the plane had crashed the people at the black stone in Mecca would have killed the survivors of the crash. How dare they come that close to their beloved black meteorite.
OK would the parishoners at the Vatican do something like that if a plane load of Muslims were to fly too close for comfort? Would the parishoners of a large Protestant denomination do that if the Muslims flew too close for comfort to their church?
** no they would not murder the survivors. The Christians would try to help any survivors they rescued Muslim or not.
This makes Christianity a more humane religion than Islam in my opinion.
