I think I cheated?

I'm in a multiple partner relationship. We both agreed to date separately when it comes to other partners. Yesterday was the first time I did something with someone other than my partner. At the time It felt exhilarating. Now I'm just dealing with how I feel. We agreed stuff like this would be okay. Why does it feel so wrong?
