Jokes on you I did get diabetes as an adult but I’m type 1 which is autoimmune. I didn’t get it from eating a drop of sugar because the only cause of type 1 is your pancreas attacking your beta cells. She also doesnt believe Im type 1 because I got it as an adult. My cousin that’s a kid has type 2. You can get both at any age. I’m LADA but that’s still type 1. And no my cousin didn’t get it from eating sugar he got it because it’s genetic. I’m more likely to be type 1 anyway because of my other health issues so I knew it would likely be type 1
