I think national politics is a lie designed to manipulate you.
I've been seeing lots of political outrage on various social media platforms lately, and I noticed a pattern. Each side has the same opinions of each other. People that vote Democrat, will say Trump speaks lies and his supporters are stupid. I also see Republican voters say, Biden/Harris speak lies and their supporters are stupid. Hmmm... Interesting.
Then you look into what people think more deeply. Like immigration policy for example. Democrats are just seething mad about what Trump is doing with immigration. But did you know that most of his current border policies came out of the Obama administration? Obama holds the record for most people deported. Trump's border policy is almost identical to Obama's. But the same people who claimed Obama was the best president ever, are the same people who want Trump's head.
People are also angry at Trump for his Tarrifs. Well, he had tariff polices in his first term as well. When Biden took office, he actually increased Trump's original Tarrifs. He enforced the same policies to an even greater degree. But most people aren't even aware of that fact.
There are so many examples of this.
My point is. You're being lied to and manipulated. People are getting into an absolute rage over politics and they don't even know why they're angry. I've seen people all over social media call people on the right Nazis. Even though the ** party was an extreme left wing party. They were socialist. They have way more in common with the American Left than they do the right. The KKK was originally founded by Democrats btw. So if anyone deserves to be called Nazis, it's the Democrats. Also those same people on the left called Ben Shapiro a **. Ya know the guy who's Jewish and wares a yamaka in every appearance he makes. *Rolls eyes". What are these people talking about?. On the other side I've also heard many people on the right call Democrats fascist. Sorry but fascism is a politically right ideology.
See my point? The more you look into these things the more you realize that the average person is simply ignorant and is being manipulated and brainwashed into hating anyone who isn't on in their side. Whoever that would be. Right or left. It's a very cult like mindset. The goal of politics is to keep the populous divided. Because the whole time we're fighting each other, we aren't paying attention to what's really going on. It's a distraction tactic. They play each side against each other and let the chaos unfold. That's what politics really is. It's designed to keep you and me fighting, so we don't notice that these rich ** have got us all over a barrel.
It's time to wake up people. This isn't about Democrat vs Republican. Left vs right. What it actually is, Is "us vs them". So the next time you get angry because somebody supports trump, or somebody supports Harris. Just remember. You're mad because that's what "they" want you to be. You're playing right into their hands. At the end of the day, we're all in this together. All this tribalism has to stop. Remember. "United we stand divided we fall". Stop letting these wealthy politicians manipulate you, because they don't give a ** about you. They don't even know you exist. To them you're just another vote at the ballot box. So it really makes no since to invest so much of your emotional energy into this mess. It's meaningless.
Ever see war games? When it comes to politics "The only winning move is not to play," to tell you the truth, I'm never voting again. I don't want to play this game anymore. I will no longer be manipulated by it. I simply refuse to participate.

Sam, this is excellent commentary and refreshing to see. Politics have became political gang wars (rhetorically), and nobody has a principled stance anymore, all they do is just play defense for their team. One thing I'll add is that the two parties actually agree on the things that really count. I don't even get worked up over personalities anymore, because the same people that never spoke out against Biden and his F ups are now rallying against Trump. And it goes both ways. The same people that swear Obama was the worst president ever tend to forget that most of them gave us Bush W for 2 terms. They're bought and sold, mostly all Neocons, and none of them are working for We The People. Our nation is corrupted, and you can get in more trouble speaking out against a certain foreign entity than can speaking out against America on American soil. And people are okay with this?
Yep. It's no longer about "we the people" Like you said. Each candidate on either side of the aisle cares more about their own party and their donors more than anyone else. Money and power. That's the game. They really could care less about the average voter. Once you drop your ballot in the ballot box, they're done with you, you have served your purpose. That's why it doesn't make a lot of since to get all wound up just because somebody votes differently from you or like policies that you opposed to. because in three and a half more years. Trump won't be president anymore. The pendulum will swing left again. And 4 to 8 years after that it will swing right. And on and on it goes. It means nothing. Ronald Regan was talking about "Make America Great Again" back then. And here we are again 35 years later. Has anything really changed? No, not really. People need to stop caring so much about politics. At the end of the day, it means nothing.
