i think it is okay to hit women if they are looking for a fight. I have hit women , and i don;t feel like a punk or anything , i would hit a guy the same way , I think if people that are weaker want to fight it shoulf be equal and bring it on. I dont have this fawning respect for women , i think when they get themselves in an oputmatched situation they run to the police and i could careless about them too. i hate it that they always claim to be victims , but i think if a girl or anyone hits you , and you give them fair warning to stop and they won't , they deserve to get hit back. I think it is wrong to just beat a woman , but then again that is kind of ** too....
This is an old post, but now that every other emo boy out there is going MtF and "gender is just a social construct," does this topic even matter anymore?

This is a very serious issue. My wife has hit me numerous times. One time I grabbed her arms to stop her becuase she was pounding my shoulder (that I had surgery on two years prior) and it left a mark on her wrists. She called the police and I went to jail for the weekend. It was humiliating. I don't hit women and because of the sexual bias in the law I can't defend myself. So when she is angry I have to walk on eggshells to keep her from getting out of control. Where is the justice?

When deciding whether or not to fight back when someone "starts on you", take any knowledge of their gender that you possess, and throw it away. They are a person, and this person has "started on you"; don't even consider their gender.
I was raised into believing that "hitting women is wrong", and it is difficult for me to raise a fist towards people of the feminine gender. So you know what I did? Instead of remaining sexist, I became somewhat of a pacifist. I'm not fully one, but under relative circumstances, I refuse to raise a fist to people of either gender. In extreme circumstances, however, I will fight back, but these circumstances must be so extreme that I wouldn't mind harming the person back even if they were a female.
My first wish regarding this situation is that I could eliminate this "hitting women is wrong" feeling I have. This feeling is feeling; it isn't my intellectual thought, and it is paining me. My second wish is that I hope one day the law wouldn't be so dam sexist.
I totally agree. Since women want to be treated like men then I say let them. They are always screaming about being equal to men but only when its convient for them. I mean when it comes to jobs they want the same amount of money but they are supposed to be able to cus you out, hit you and everything else and get away with it. I say if a girl hit you then bust her a$$. If women want to be equal then lets make them completely equal.
