Sexuality is not shameful... I'll just never tell my parents
I am a bisexual girl and I believe sexuality is such a small part of what makes a person a person. Being bi is amazing and is nothing to be sad or ashsmed of, but until I find a girl I am deeply in love with, I'll never confess my sexual orientation to my family. My parents (especially my mum) say they are open minded and accepting, and they are to a certain extent. But that doesn't stop my mum from using the f-a-g word even though she knows that I don't like it, and it doesn't stop my dad from making his offensive jokes. They think my twin sister is going though a phase since she told them she was gay and didn't identify as male or female and they are not as open minded as they make it out to be.
I'm in the same situation as you. No twin sister but basically the same as you. Bisexual and happy, but not out to my parents
