Why people

I read on the news that there are now something like 87 different genders......... WTF!?! why cant we go back to the 1940/1950 where being straight was normal and gay/bi people were considered sick in the head. i mean come on people. why are you like this. theres no need for this many genders. only 2. male and female...and they are straight.

  • Eeeehh, I'm with the OP partway on this. But only partway.

The gender thing is completely nucking futs. It's more an indication of every little edgelord with a keyboard trying to make themselves seem special than an actual social movement.

Sometimes you feel more masculine, sometimes more feminine, sometimes more none of the above, etc. Nothing wrong with any of that, that's normal and human. What's dumb is waving a big fvcking virtual look-at-me banner about it, plus demanding that the rest of the world restructure itself to suit precious little YOU. That's why the "87 different genders" thing needs to die.

If you're a man and you like men, fine. Big whoop. Ditto any other pairing you can imagine. Just go about your business and quit expecting mountains of fvcking applause and validation from strangers for it!! You are NOT the center of the universe!

  • Hmm back to the 1940's and 1950's where some idiots started a war that killed 10's of millions.

Hmm back to the 1950's where my dad insisted that the whole family be naked inside the house.

When if it had been reported the polioce would have said what he did in his house was up to him.

  • Bi and gay people have always been there.
    It was just not broadcasted.

  • Agree.

Bi, gay, straight, whatever. You do you. It doesn't have to be hush-hush, but it doesn't need to be shouted from every g0ddamn rooftop 24/7 either! How is this a difficult concept?

  • Sometimes people can't help who they fall in love with. Some people say love isn't about gender it's about the person they fall for. I guess we will never understand it until we go through it. I once knew someone who was straight as can be. Then met someone who was gay not by intentional, but after a few years fell for them. What I'm trying to say is that it could happen to anyone by accident. But it depends on the person. I've heard of some married couples who are very well straight, and it happen to them also. I guess that's the way life is sometimes..

  • ^Agreed^!!!
