In a moment of haste disrespected a doctor
I am a first year cse engineering student. I have just started class from last week on a reknowned engineering college. the college is quite far from my house. but my father had fallen sick and had to be admitted to a hospital near my college. he had come to the college with me for my admission. a month ago he was admitted to a hospital because of water getting stagnated in the lungs. the doctor had said that it as because of pneumonia..and after taking out almost 2 lts of water , he was discharged with a certain course of medicine to be followed. but here the new doc says that my father was being wrongly treated and consequently the conditions of his lungs have deteriorated. I became really angry and had called the previous doctor and had vent out my frustration on him. I said that I will no consult him again. but now, I feel that though he had made a mistake , it was my mistake to vent out my frustration on someone far older than me. now I really feel bad about it.
Don't spend too much time thinking about it. You could always apologize to the doctor. But most would understand your frustration and concern. It's scary when a loved one is in the hospital and then you learn that doctors have conflicting diagnoses.
Live with what things are right now. You can't change the past. But go get a second opinion from a 3rd doc. Just to be sure.
