Depression

I remember one time a long time ago my family was watching one of those singing competition shows. A girl came on and she had a great story about how she had depression and anxiety and this was a big step for her. Everyone was moved and I was proud but my dad said that she had to have done something to get in that mental state. I was mad and now I am scared to tell my parents that I might have depression because the might not believe me or blame me.
