I'm seventy years old and my advice is common knowledge.
I can't give a young man or woman any advice because they know it already. Much time has passed and apparently, my life wasn't unique or interesting enough to tell anyone anything.
I just sit in my pub sipping my beer and watching sports on TV.
I'm 72 this year. I understand your plight. I had a similar problem. Younger people don't drink at your pub. The youngest person there is the vending machine service tech. I solved my failure to communicate by not wearing womens ** on my head ...in public.
That's not true: you know a lot of things that are valuable, the product of a long life. You just don't get enough opportunities to share your knowledge and perspectives with people who would look up to you, give the chance. Do volunteer work, go to church, join a service organization, get a part-time job, etc. Get out of the effing bar.
