I stopped wearing all underwear a couple of years ago, and never want to go back to wearing it.
However, there can be a down side to it as I experienced not long ago.
I was in a large shopping centre near my home. I was wearing a rather tight, short green dress with a full length zip up the front and hold-ups, nothing else.
I bought a number of things and was carrying two bags when all of a sudden the zip broke allowing the dress to totally open up exposing everything. As I was carrying the bags in both hands it was impossible to hold the tight dress together. I had to walk through the presinct to the car park with everything on show. Dozens of people must have seen my totally naked body. Getting to my car I was unable to find anything to hold it together, so I had to drive home. Im sure that at each traffic light and road junction many people saw at least my ti-ts and possibly more. The thought of it was beginning to really excite me, and on reaching home I had to do something about it with my trusty **.

That happened to me. I was wearing a short wrap around skirt with one button fastening at the waist. As I walked along toward the bus station on my way home, the button came off and the skirt dropped around my feet. Lots of people were around and saw my totally naked lower half. I had no knickers on.

Im a sixteen year old girl at a well known boarding school. I sleep in a dormitory with seven other girls. For the past few months we have all stopped wearing knickers, although we have to wear the regulation black tights.

Not wearing knickers is a lovely feeling. Having that little secret, and knowing that a sudden breeze or careless move could reveal it to everyone is absolutely wonderful. However, to me the ditching of a bra is even better. to be free of the restraining harness and cutting shoulder straps makes life so much better.

Whereas knickers it’s more the other way round as I had a few dresses where wearing knickers looked because of a VPL. Who needs knickers?
For the past nine years I have been completely commando all the time, always wearing skirts and dresses with NOTHING underneath.
At the age of nineteen I stopped wearing knickers. It was so much more comfortable. My pus*sy appreciated the fresh air and no restriction. About a year later I decided that I was never going to wear them again, so I put them all in a bag and disposed of them. At no time since have I ever felt the need for them.

Among the group of girls on my course most of them have stopped wearing ** and most, including myself wear quite short skirts and dresses. In my country the wearing of ** has greatly reduced in the last few years, and that includes older people.
Because we all ride bikes this is very evident on the streets. Girls no longer seem to mind how much they are showing. I certainly don't.

Walking, sitting, standing or any other movement that causes the seam to rub against my ** can deliver an enormous amount of pleasure, unbeknown to anyone other than myself.
So whatever the weather and however one needs to dress, there's no excuse for not ditching the knickers and there's a great deal of fun to be had.

I recently came across this site. It amused me to read about all the girls who have given up wearing knickers. I'm aged 77 and have never worn knickers in my life. I was born during the war. Everything was rationed, even clothes. My mother, like most of the other women couldn't buy much so they gave up wearing things that didn't show, like knickers. After the war my mother never went back to wearing them and I was brought up never wearing them, even at school. When the sixties came, the era of the mini-skirt I still went without although my skirts were the shortest that I could find. It was obvious that I had nothing on underneath them. Everything was on display. It didn't bother me at all. I eventually got married and my husband loved the fact that he could slip his hand up my skirt at any time and not encounter any knickers. He did it in some pretty public places at times. I loved it.
Even now, at my age I wouldn't even consider wearing knickers, and will never do so until I die. They are a complete waste of time and money.

There is nothing nicer than after a shower in the morning to slip into a miniskirt and top with nothing underneath, knowing that you will be like that for the rest of the day. You do not know what that day will bring. It might be uneventful, or it might put you into a situation where others will easily see that you have no underwear on. Although I do not deliberately go around flashing people, I do not care if someone gets a look up my skirt. It is not the end of the world.

I read recently that 20% of UK women now choose to go without underwear or at least knickerless (not sure if it was also referring to bras). I'm happy to be one of them and have been since my final year at university five years ago.
It's healthier, cleaner and a very ** feeling. I have half a dozen pairs of knickers left and only wear them when my monthly visitor arrives. If my friends are anything to go by, the number could be higher than that. I go commando full time and so do a number of the girls that I work with. My sister is also a non-panty wearer, and tells me that quite a number of her friends have also ditched underwear.

I stopped wearing underwear with tight trousers, leggings and even dresses when I was in my mid-teens, either to avoid VPL if dressing smartly or chafing when jogging or at the gym.

I live in small village in Bavaria. Im 24 and work in town about 5km distant. I get there every day on my little moped.
My village is very traditional and a lot of women still wear dirndl and some men lederhosen.
My parents brought me and my brother up in traditional manner.
Most women do not wear pants under dirndl, so I never wear them as a child, not even at school.
Today my job has a uniform of white top and black skirt about 60cm above the knee. Under this I wear nothing, but if pantyhose is required I wear no-** brand.
A few of my work collogues also wear no pants under skirt. I tried them once but found them uncomfortable so remove them quite soon.
My brother who works in office also never wears under pants, also my boyfriend.

From what a number of my female friends and relatives tell me, I would suggest that the number of UK women who have stopped wearing knickers either totally, or at frequent intervals, is much higher than 20%, probably more like 35%.
One of my friends works in a well known store which sells large quantities of underwear. She tells me that over the last few years the sales are on the decline with fewer girls and young women buying knickers.
I myself go permanently commando, no matter what I am wearing, and so do several of my friends.

This is not just about not wearing knickers. What about bra's? Two years ago after my bra feeling very uncomfortable at work I decided at lunch time to take it off. Oh the relief! That afternoon was wonderful although anyone could see that I was braless. I didn't care, I was free of straps cutting into my shoulders and the restriction of movement. I made up my mind that afternoon that I wasn't going to wear a bra again, no matter what anyone thought. That night I put all my bra's into a bag and took them to the attic. They are still there. I haven't worn one since.
With regards knickers, I quite often go commando and will probably do so permanently soon. They don't really serve much of a purpose.

I’m Angela, aged 26. A fairly normal girl, 5 feet six inches tall with a good figure and shoulder length natural blonde hair. However, a slight difference is the fact that I hate wearing clothes and am naked as much as possible. Luckily I live in a fairly secluded cottage in the countryside. My only neighbour is the farmer whose land backs onto my garden. This has quite a high wall, but from his tractor he can look over it. He has seen me in the garden naked many times. In fact, when I hear the tractor coming I do not bother to cover up. He usually stops and we chat over the wall. He says that he loves looking at my naked body. I do not mind at all. One of my biggest dislikes is underwear, so even when I’m at work or shopping I never wear a bra or knickers. I love wearing really short skirts and dresses, and during the summer really thin and floaty sundresses with nothing underneath. My workmates all know that I don’t wear underwear, and most of them have had a good look at my assets at different times.
Quite often at home I will answer the door completely **. I love the expressions on delivery drivers faces when they see me. I make sure that they can see everything and they love it. One got completely carried away and we ended up having se-x in the hallway. Bodies should be seen, not hidden away, and underwear is a complete waste of time. I do not own any and will never buy it.

Im a male courier working for a very large delivery company. My job starts early in the morning so quite often I make my first few deliveries before some people get up.
You would be surprised at some of the sights that I see. Often I ring the doorbell and a female jumps out of bed to answer it. I have seen everything from see-through nighties to completely naked. There is never a week goes by that I do not see a female in a state of near undress. Some act shy, but others just do not seem to care how much they are showing. The other morning I delivered to a house, a girl in her twenties answered the door. All she was wearing was a T shirt. She said,"youre early, I haven't even put my knickers on yet". That was very obvious to see.
