THe ministers wife fired me
I drove the church bus and by coincidence I worked for a company where the ministers wife was head of HR.
ONe day a lady working downstaris told me to watch out for two packages that she was expecting as they were very important. OK one package came in and I signed for it. The lady called me and asked where the other package was and I asked her didnt she get it? She said no. she then hung up and called HR who called me into the office and fired me.
The job was a good one as it had loads of great benefits. After a brief argument I left. I felt like **.
OK that Sunday after picking up passengers to go to church I put in a two weeks notice. After two weeks I would no longer drive the bus. I also quit attending services.
The minister tried to talk me ut of quitting but I just said hed have to find someone else to drive his bus as I no longer considered myself a member of his congregation. He asked if it would help if I had a talk with his wife and I said no as that would make the situation even worse. I told him to tell her to never speak to me again.
I was god as my word and they had not found a replacement driver to drive their bus. After the two weeks was up I drove home never to darken the door of that church again.
