I have been defying what my parents wanted to me a long time ago

But at what cost would it be? will my mental health be okay? since even before I have not followed what they wanted of me , to be a nurse, I chose a course that was equally medically related but easier for me and here I am now, I am not at all regretting about the things and choices that I have done though in fact it had a bit of advantage. I also didn't regret the things that I have done because having fun is part of life and not having any huge major impact in life I have a little bit of leverage for it.
