My gripes with God
He doesn't cure asthma. I prayed for it to go away and I still got it. My two best friends died one of kidney issues and the other of altheimers disease. I prayed along with them for healing but they died anyway. Every friend of mine is deceased and at age 77 I am friendless.
Where was God? Each friend left a wife and some had children who miss them.
Looks like prayer is useless to me in fact it seems to make things worse.
I attended an conservative evangelical church that my parents went to. What my parents don't know is that I lost my virginity underneath the youth pastor at a the youth society summer retreat that they sent me to when I was still a preteen. One I became eighteen I stopped attending and this caused a huge rift between my parents and I.

I found this song helpfull. You still have yourself, my friend. And at the end of the day, we're born alone, we die alone, everything is awful but thats part of gods plan. Or maybe god's dead. Or maybe he never existed. Or maybe he's a vengeful and ** god, no one knows. The point is you still have life in you, you can do anything you want! It's easy to be nihilistic but it's fun to embrace absurdism :) Everything is pointless and life has no meaning! That's what makes it fun! Think about it this way, if god was flesh and blood, your boss, politician, or even the president and he made the same empty promises, ignored your same pleas, and let everyone suffer even though he could fix everything instantly? That he "sacrificed his son" by making him walk all the way to prison for a mere three day sentence then bailing him out right after. What would you do?? You'd riot!
Im sorry for your losses, I truly am. If i were you id hang up the cross and do "gods work" with your own hands by volunteering to help those in need or get into a fulfilling hobby. Or both. Best of luck my friend.

Look at the bright side. Each of your friends had a wife. None of them are getting any ** anymore. You could fill those voids (pun intended).
