Classics Illustrated comics
Ok I collected as many of them as I could. Some of my comics were over 70 years old. I enjoyed reading them and it made me familiar at least with an aspect of a classic piece of literature.
The trouble is no one but me wanted them. Collectors were few and far between and when I went to a book seller he didn't even reimburse me for the money I had already invested in them. He said truthfully that they were only worth .2 cents apiece.
He gave me that amount plus a small amount of money for the gas it took to bring them to his store.
The artwork was excellant and it suprises me no one collects them or almost no one.
