I allow my child to smoke
I smoke four packs a day, and have for a long time. My six year old girl recently asked me to let her puff on my ciggy. So I did. She asked to do it repeatedly all day. By the end of the day, she wanted her own ciggy. So I gave her one. Since then, she has been smoking like a champ, about a pack a day. I somehow feel guilty but not really. I actually don't think it's all that bad for her to smoke.
Recently, I cut down to 2 packs a day because I am pregnant--3 months. I just don't think I should deprive myself just because I a pregnant. I expect my new baby will want to smoke too, and I don't have a problem teaching it how to do it. I love smoking more that anything. I don't think I'm all that bad, but my friends say I'm wrong. Any comments?

I think you are a great parent. I wish we were together. I don't think you should have cut down on your smoking just because you were pregnant. You should have kept smoking 4 packs a day. And you should let your kids smoke more and more. Let them build up to 4 packs a day like you. You should also let them smoke cigars.

If you like it you won't want to stop so you should smoke but try to only smoke like 5 or 6 cigarettes a day. That much is not harmful. And try to talk to your mom about it so you don't have to hide it

ONLY?! Child, I have never smoked but have worked with those who do. A man I know had to go into the hospital to have his lungs scraped out because he had blisters all over his lungs. They scraped the blisters in surgery. He survived the surgery but only lasted two years after that. You are a CHILD and do not have the judgement required to make such a decision. In addition, smoking robs your body of oxygen which as a growing child you need.

I would recommend you to continue smoking. It's a really nice tool to have, it can help you calm down during a stressful day at work, it helps you wake up in the morning, and when you get older and start having to worry about maintaining your figure, it can also help with apatite. It's honestly really nice and you should definitely keep it up.
