I'm white, grew up pretty much around white middle and upper class people. Maybe a bit afraid of black people because they were unknown or different.

My kids though esp when they were in elementary school just don't see it. We'd have black kids being brought home and our kids going to clack kids places.

I had to kind of take a deep breath and recognise my own predjuices. and get over them.

I'm a white guy and I love black women. I grew up in a white area, so there were never many around, but lordy, black women are hot. Wish I had been able to meet one to marry.

Having been forced to live around them I empathize. They're not the only ones though. Don't let anyone ever call you a racist. Anyone who does tell them to go live in the ghetto and see what it's like. White flight happens for a reason.

All one needs to do is look at the facts , its a hard truth . Whenever blacks move in to an area crime rates go up. Its not racist its just true. The small cities and towns around me are slowly becoming more "diversified" last year our neighboring city made the one hundred most dangerous cities list after having 15 murders in that year. In previous years the murder rate was maybe one or two for the year. Blacks, drugs and violence all moved in together thank you diversity!

As a professional black women, from a middle class military family, I find your comment offensive!! Don't pigeon hole all black people, as criminals!! Within any racial groups, you get good and bad people, that's a fact!!
If you're oblivious and ignorant to this, you can't be helped. It's sad really!! :-(
