My bf and I have been gaining weight and we like it
My boyfriend and I have been together for three years by now. We got together after graduating school, and both started studying at uni. Pretty quickly, we enjoyed our new freedom outside of school, usually with weed, fast food, alcohol, and lots of lazy days together.
Over time, of course we got pretty pudgy, and at first we didn't know how to feel about it. But neither of us wanted to let go of our lifestyles, so we just continued. At some point I just stagnated (at around 215lbs), but my boyfriend just kept getting heavier.
And well, here we are, with him being a butterball of 305lbs. He's got moobs, a double chin, belly rolls, and he's never been lazier. And I love it. And he loves it. Letting go made us both heavier, and even knowing of health risks, we continue enjoying it.
Over the years it had been really adorable to watch him struggle into his pants, and even when he bought new ones, they wouldn't last for all too long. Until the point he decided to go for sweats 24/7, which not only is much comfier for him, but honestly even hotter.
With how he eats, I doubt he'll stop getting heavier, softer, and lazier any time soon, but I will always be there to support him in what he wants, be it losing the weight, or staying at a weight.
Me and my ex bf both got fat in college (Im around 260-265 now but kind of tall at 5'9"). When we broke up I was worried that I was too fat to find anyone who'd like me, but it turns out my weight was no problem at all. In fact, Im now in a solid new relationship with a normal weight guy who never batted an eye about my weight. In fact, Ive gotten so comfortable with him, Ive noticed Im gaining more weight. He doesn't care.
Your story is very normal. Most people nowadays have become heavier and nobody bats an eye. Enjoy life. Isn't that what it's all about?
Yay for body positivity! Enjoy the diabetes and the amputations. Go you! Slay queen!
Take the health shaming elsewhere. Not all fat people get diabetes. Read a book and learn something.
I've been married 8 years and so far I fed my wife up to 510lbs. She started out at around 270. I'm still 190 but my wife keeps eating and growing. We have 2 kids, a house, a dog, and life is just great. It couldn't be better. Enjoy yourselves while you can.
Good to hear you two are enjoying life. My wife and me have a similar story, though we're out of college for a year now. We are kind of the opposite, in that she keeps gaining, while my body seems to be content with being 265 lbs. My wife has been gaining steadily however, for the last 5 years. She's currently around 295. We've decided to celebrate when she reaches 300 by going to the locate all you can eat place and allow her to stuff herself to the max.
Congrats on finding the right lifestyle for both of you. I am also letting myself go and it is wonderful! Does getting morbidly obese have some drawbacks? Sure, but the good far outweighs the bad (pun intended). Eating anything and everything you want is the way life should be. And being soft and heavy and out if shape is hot af. Who cares if it's a struggle just to get up off the couch when you never want to get up anyway?
Welcome to Walmart World! Fat, sweatpants, low income and worth, sucking on oxygen tanks at 50, parking in the fire lane because your knees are too weak to walk on, living off the subsidies of tax payers. Yeah, keep glorifying America’s transformation into a fat lazy society. Now, off to Dennys!
So, how much does he weigh now and have gotten bigger than your 215lbs?
