Does Jackie smoke in front of her grandparents? When Belinda mum let me and Lilly smoke she told us to smoke in front of them whenever we liked and if our family didn't approve then tough luck and that she'll always stand by us. Only her brother disapproves of our smoking. We don't have anything to do with him now. Belinda mum's sister, who we call aunt loves us smoking. She isn't our real aunt but we call her aunt out of respect. Belinda's dad always lets us get a beer out of his fridge when we visit and we get him one to have with us too.

Both my parents smoke, and they are totally OK with Jackie smoking. Mike's parents used to smoke, but in general, have never really cared much about what Jackie does. When Ren and Lilly moved in with their father and me when they were 9 they had to change their ways quick smartly. They wanted to leave their natural mum and have lived with us since they were 9. It was not a smooth transition. I buy them designer clothes and they were wearing them once and leaving them on the bedroom room together with their school uniform and shoes. After a warning they did it again so I sent their clients to the drycleaners to be cleaned and pressed and shoes to the bootmaker to polished. Then I put their pocket money aside which I gave them to spend at the movies and at the coffee shop when they had coffee after school. I know how these "transitions" can be. Paula was pretty upset when her father and me broke up, but she had a pretty easy time accepting Mike. He has a house with 3 bedrooms, so Jack was able to get her own room; all he had to do was move some things around to make the room available for her. Mike is a stud and a very straight forward guy. Not more than a high school education but makes good money--he owns his own plumbing business. I think Jack was so accepting of him because she has a huge crush on him, even tho she denies it. He definitely has noticed her, too. He's told me a few times how ** she is. Mike has only recently turned 32, 5 years younger than me, and he looks more like 26, so I can see Jackie's attraction to him.
