Im happy with my kids smoking
I have 2 girls ones 10 and the oldests is 13. Me and my hubby are heavy 40+ smokers, I smoked all the way through both my pregnancies with no intention of quitting and both came out fine. i let them smoke when they were 10 and 7 and me and my partner were quite happy about it we've been happily smoking for years and the fact our kids now joined in felt great to do together, 3 years later there both on a pack a day(even more on weekends). I feel bad sometimes because obviously all the potential health problems but I was smoking when I was there age it's just good fun basically.
Hey Belinda! Your girls sound a lot like my Angelina. She didn‘t start as young as Ren and Lilly but had her first cig at 8.
Angelina started on her own, together with her best friend, sneaking cigs from me. I didn‘t notice until I caught her a few days after she turned 9 – and HOW she smoked made clear she had been practicing for a while. I got a bit mad at her... not for smoking (I was sure that she would take it up sooner or later since I‘m quite a heavy smoker myself), but for not asking me to teach her. But you should have seen the glance on her face when I said she could smoke everywhere at home now and I would get her a carton of her own.
That‘s been three years ago and of course she‘s still a smoker... and smoking isn‘t the only thing she started with earlier than myself. She‘s having fun with her best friend since her 10th bday... and a few weeks later they both started with boys.
She also drinks ans goes to parties but I also let her have friends over, always a good feeling to know she‘s partying in a safe environment.
You got some friends who share our style of parenting? I always love making friends and talk and share experiences.

Seen as though they started smoking so young, it wasn't surprising to me that they started having ** at the same age. I allow them to drink in moderation, they can take half a bottle of Vodka between them to parties. That should allow them 6 nips each and I consider that enough for 11 year old girls. i don't particularly care how much they smoke.

I bet most of the antis on here tried a cigarette before they were ten as did I. The only difference is some continue to smoke. I have twin daughters aged 7 and I'm happy to allow them to smoke. Isn't there an age old adage "What's good for the goose, is good for the gander?"

My kids are too little to smoke, but I'm not going to stop them when they're older. I love smoking and wished I'd started as a kid instead of waiting until I was an adult.

I am totally in favor of letting kids smoke! I have 2 daughters and one sin and I allowed them all to start smoking when they were 10, 8 and 7 (the boy is the youngest. That was 3 years ago. They are now 13, 11, and 10 and all 3 still smoke and still love it. If i had it to do over again, the only thing i would change would be to start them even earlier. Thats my only regret!

I allowed my 3 daughters to start smoking at ages 9, 7, and 6. They are now 12, 10, and 9 and have been smoking for 3 years. And yes, I also smoke. I have absolutely no problem with letying them smoke as much as they want! They enjoy it, and frankly, i hope they never stop!

Cool, were the same... with a 12 yo. daughter. Tbh its hubby's daughter but her mom left when she was 8 and one year later I came into the picture... and started her smoking. Her dad was a bit shocked at first but realising how much she liked it he gave in and now were just a happy smoking family. You let your kids smoke in public too?
