I was a terrible child

When I was a child, I hit our dog a couple of times with a stick and would pick our cats up even when they really wanted to be left alone. Sometimes I would put the cat in a bag so that he couldn't run away. I realize now that what I did was terrible, and I don't think that I'll ever stop feeling guilty about it.
